Hi everyone,
,....... If you check the countdown my brother God di win. I have DECISION MADE for my wife and baby. Early April they are touching down at Montreal Airport.
I applied in June 2014 and all was completed today. 9 months for FAM sponsorship.
ANIMO to the brethren in the queue...
Hi Manoh,
It is faster to apply for sponsorship than adding the family. I have one example he had hsi selection certificate 2 years ago, got married and added wife and the cancelled everything and started from afresh he is still waiting for second year and no response. you guys should come in and do sponsorship it is faster.
Wish you all the best.
Canadaforall.
Hi all,
I am happy to meet this forum.I have a doubt.
Something happened to my sister.
My sister applied for a Canadian student visa, she was given the visa and a short time later before they sent the passport back the visa was cancelled, because the school called the embassy saying the fees were not fully paid.
A few months later, we got another admission, took our time again to apply for the study permit, she got the passport request, then later got a letter saying that she should send a copy of the return shipping receipt(dhl, fedex, etc). She did so the very next day, we uploaded it online.
Two days later I checked the online account and saw that the status was 'refused' and 'close'.
Her passport returned to her with no refusal stamp, instead with the first time cancelled visa.
I need an explanation, why would she get a passport invitation then later no visa??? Did we make a mistake when we did not pay postage aller et retour?...Anyway, I am still hoping to apply sometime soon.
Ask for an explanation from the visa office via email!!!
Dear mates i am new to this forum and i am so happy to find this forum since my visa office is also dakar and i have applied for the Federal Skilled Worker process.i see they are not manay people applying for the FSW from Cameroon
i need to have more information on how thi works for our visa office especially as i have read on other thread and seen that their process is very faster than in dakar office.
i applied in Agust 15th 2014, they sent me the letter of Possitive eligeability (PER) on the 4th of December 2014 and from then on i have had no feedback from dakar.
i dont know if the file is still in Canada or has already been transfered to Dakar
i am just confused and dont know approximately what time it takes especillay as i see that in most visa offices its approximately 12months.
i need someone to clearify me because i am also engaging on other projects.
thanks for a feedback

How do I arrange pick up from Dakar office.
This is for my wife's daughter whose permanent visa application has been approved.
She is located in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
I have called DHL Canada to schedule a pick up from Dakar to Kinshasa.
However, DHL Canada couldn't perform such transaction given that I don't have a business DHL account.
Can anyone please tell me what other options do I have?

[ you need to call dhl senegal
I had exactly the same situation for my wife.
You may end up sending money to someone in dakar who will go and pay for the pp to be sent to Kinshasa.
Anymore questions do not hesitate to ask.]
Thanks Manoh for your reply.
So, in your case, what did you do?
I don't know anyone in Senegal.
When I call DHL Senegal, I keep getting a voicemail.

I found someone I sent money to him. He did it on the same day. I gave him my file number and the address I want it to be shipped to.
You could write directly to dhl senegal.

Manoh, are you familiar with the VFS service that the Canadian embassies use?

I want to know if the Canadian embassy in Dakar can send the passport to the Canadian Embassy in Kinshasa.
From the little information I have, VFS is a service provided by the Canadian embassy to transfer passports from one embassy to another one.
Unfortunately, I am not able to reach the Embassy in Dakar to inquire about this service.

To be honest I don't know how VFS works. You can only get to Dakar visa office via email.

Hello Sango, French is important in Quebec.
Overall, all provinces in Canada are pretty much cool. To chose were u want to live is a function of what you want. Like Education, language, and choice of job.
So many things come into play.
