Congrats my brother. Put everything together and start coming. I will tell you that here there are also challenges , but if you are strong enough then it is nothing. I like it here despite the challenges and ready to kick start all over again.

Starting like a child creeping but know that the future is bright. That is the reality on the ground. Some people do not want to tell us what they ar going through , but it all depends on your job title.

At the end of the day i like it here better than all the places i have lived and worked in like Finland and China. The speak a common language like me.

where are you planning to settle Manoh? I am sure you will like to go where your friends or relatives are.

Good luck.
Canadaforall i think Manoh applied under QSW category and will obviously be landing Quebec before thinking otherwise. How long must one stay in Quebec before moving to settle/work in another territory say Calgary or Ontario?

One of my friends landed from France to Calgary, but that was in those days where they were still begging immigrants. Now there are so many immigrants and they begin to question why you had signed papers that you going to Quebec AND THEN LANDING IN A DIFFERENT CITY.

MOST TAKE THEIR TRANSIT VIA MONTREAL APPLY FOR PR AND THEN CONTINUE THEIR FLIGHT TO ANOTHER CITY. tHE MOST IMPORTANT YOU HAVE TO APPLY IS pr AND IT WILL BE DONE IN Quebec IF YOU TRANSIT THERE.

So it is easy to void any problems just by booking a transit via Montreal.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the support broz.

I will work hard to make sure I insert myself in Quebec. For now am unsure if I will permanently settle in Quebec. I also do not know for how long u have to stay in Quebec before leaving the province if one should.

With time I hope to make the right decisions.

Manoh, Congrats and welcome to Canada. We are warming the place up for you. As canadaforall said, there will be challenges, but with much determination, you will overcome. If we have waited this long for PR, then what can this challenge do to us.
Have u decided yet where you will be settling?

When I arrived toronto, i took a cab to my temporal address, and the cab driver was telling me, that in canada, there are two things you shouldn't trust, the women, and the weather. I careless about the women, but the weather is a different ball game. But it is exciting starting a fresh.

Again congrats bro.

Hello Canadaforall,

Sincerely I will like that you give me your take to these worries of mine.

1. My fiance is pregnant and she was not included in my application. I intend to start her application when she has put to birth. (At the advice of the visa office). After calculating the her consumption I discovered that she has to be on a budget of at least 100,000 FCFA per month.

My question is: After spending sometime in Canada starting from crash, are you sure upon arrival there, I will be able to be sending her this money if I get a survival job?

Please, give me your take based on your experiences and considering that I will be living with a friend for the first 2 months.

Thank you in advance for your response. I will be landing in July.

Hello Manoh, I know you wrote to canadaforall, but i think they just had a very bad flood in southern alberta, calgary this past week, I think he is occupied with relocation and cleanup. you will be able to support her on 100000frs a month, if you get a survival job. I suggest that before you come, just give her something in advance to take care for herself, so that when you move to canada, you will have time to find the survival job, and start working and then provide for her. One week after I landed, I found a survival job at a warehouse and I will be sending some money back home for my fiance as well in Buea. The minimum wage is $10.25 and you get 40 hrs a week. I suggest you start looking for agencies online in quebec, so that when you land, you just go to them and apply for work. You will need to apply in as many agencies as possible, it will increase you chances of getting a job faster.

Well i think you have to ask a particular are, so that it will make it easier to answer.
i know men do not like carrying food, but if you want to carry, then

Things will be hard in the beginning, so please if yu have money,

Get an address you will use at the airport for your PR application.

Buy Egusi

dry fish make sure you remove all bones, creyfish only note no dry meat.

peel your maggi and tie in a black plastic paper and just label spices. they do not want it to pass through customers.

dry okongbong for your soup

garri if you eat it.

white garri is lighter than the red one so but it.

tell you wife to dry you sweet bitter leaf.

and other things of your choice.

If you feel you will be cooking then these things are very important. Things are very expensive here.

So think about any question and ask i will be happy to answer you.
