			We got a call from our MP's office today. Apparently, a change of our address had caused the delay. I had called up IRCC 2-3 months ago to update our address/phone numbers, etc.
		
		
	 
Honestly, one of my biggest complaints about IRCC is that they seem to have considerable difficulty even dealing with changes of address.
That said, I moved into my current residence over two years ago, and the previous resident still receives more mail here than we do. And I *know* they have tried to change most of these addresses many times (even their employer - a very large hospital - still sends mail here). It's crazy 

 And I only found out that this was an issue when I called IRCC about 3 months after the processing time had passed.
