Anyone Applied for Visa for MAY from India- please share timeline

Hi,

We applied for my sister's Student Visa on February 8th from VFS Jalandhar, India. Haven't heard anything yet. I checked online it shows processing time for 6 weeks for student visa.

Just wondering if anyone else has applied and have heard anything. Ours was a paper application, however I have linked it online.

I applied online on 10th Feb.. havent heard anything as yet I have also been checking up on the processing times, earlier it was 5 weeks and now the latest update has increased it to 6 weeks..

Cant link my application to online too.
Dont know how mucb they will take.
Normal processing times at the that time was 5 weeks

I got My visa With in 8 days for May intake 2017 from Chandigarh embassy.My friend also applying after mine 3 days still waiting for visa approval. Donot worry everything will good. I pray for you and also other applicants. Waiting for Good news at your side as soon as possible.

I am Zarin from Dhaka, Bangladesh. My Husband is applying for Masters course in Canada. and I am doing a job at Multinational Company from 5years. Now my questions are...

1. if someone gets the student visa then when he can take his wife based on TRV visa?
2. after got the study visa, can wife apply for visit visa??? and then, can she apply for TRV? or she has to back in Bangladesh to apply for TRV.

Another things in my application were:
I have 7 year gap in my study but during this I was experience as a software developer.
My Ielts score was 6 band not less than 5.5.

Even I am waiting for an update from Consulate General of Canada, Bengaluru.Applied under general category paper based.
applied on : 19th jan 2017
medicals passed : 26th jan 2017

Since then no update.Its been almost 5 weeks now.How can we get an update from consulate?? I tried calling them but no use ...

Hey.. have you received any confirmation mail before you got visa..? Because I m worried about the mail I have got, in this mail they only mentioned that your passport has been dispatched. Plz give suggestions.. thanking you

I have received visa confirmation email on the same day that I received my passport.
I didn't receive any email regarding dispatch.But I don't know if my agent receive any email regarding this. Because my file submitted by my agent.

My friend submit file on 9th February but still waiting for visa.In VFS tracking showing your file being processed.
