Anyone applied for GIC but not received their GIC even after 15 business days? I have transferred my GIC amount on June 8,2017, till now I have not received any mail from Scotia. I contacted Scotia but they are saying that they haven't received any payment yet. Anyone in the same boat?

How you paid the GIC? Through your own bank account? Contact your bank regarding this.

Yes I have paid the GIC amount through my hdfc bank account and I have my acknowledgement and swift receipt also. The bank is saying that the payment had been processed on 8june17 but Scotia is saying that they haven't received the amount yet

I paid the GIC through my HDFC bank account too, the wire transfer was processed on 23rd June and no reply from Scotiabank as of now. It's been more than 5 business days anyway. Your post got me a little worried because all my documents for visa are ready except GIC confirmation. I am applying for Sept intake.

Your case is bit exceptional. I take not more than 10 days to get confirmation from GIC. Make sure you have paid your GIC in your account only. Confirm your Scotia bank account number on the HDFC bank slip and in your Scotia Bank login. Call the Scotia Bank helpline number and ask them to confirm. Mail the scanned copy of the payment slip of HDFC bank to Scotia Bank customer care email and ask them for help.
