Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Is it possible na marefused ang Student permit? But maapproved ang spouse OWP and dependent child?

I'm thinking that isn't possible kasi 'yung purpose of application in the first place is one of you is gonna study, and you're merely applying for OWP for your husband/wife and a TRV for your kids, too, so you can bring them with you, and don't have to be away from them in the duration of your studies.

Hi. I recommend to book your ticket on your own. Did an inquiry to him and quoted me a ticket for USD1128, direct flight to Toronto via PAL. My cousin browsed PAL website and saw the ticket was just for USD1028. Same dates. Same itinerary.

He's actually adding more to it, so you won't really save money.

Yes. That's what we're thinking too.

It's just that it happened that my husband and daughther's passports were ready for pick up, but mine wasn't.

Their status on GCKey were approved already and we already received their approval letter. Mine is still says submitted.

We assumed it was just late update, and not refused.

One-way lang since makakapag-present ka naman ng documents that you're gonna study for the duration that you're in Canada. Also, hindi rin kasi tayo makakapag-book that far out ng return flight.

Hi roks. I think it is wise not to.
Kung nakapagwire transfer ka na sa scotiabank ng required funding mo for the whole program, it would be better. They will check your proof of fund kasi upon entry sa border (as I have read). So yung dadalhin mo lang na cash/cheque/etc should not exceed 10k cad or else idideclare mo yan. Saka mo na ibalik yung ibang borrowed money pag nakatawid ka na. Yun din kasi gagawin ko. Hehe.

Hello again... I'm a little scared, I read somewhere na kapag after Aug 1 mo ilodge yung application mo for September intake is possible na marefused. I'm still waiting for my GIC and I think aabot sya ng august since kahapon lang (july 26, 2019) ko naiwire sa scotiabank yung money..
