Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

I had my MMR booster shot at St. Lukes Bocobo back in 2014. My siblings and I were asked to get that vaccine. So, we all got the vaccine the same day. This year, when I and my wife (plus two kids) had our medical at St Lukes BGC, we were told that MMR booster shot is a requirement before submitting the medical results to IRCC. My MMR shot in 2014 was okay. My firstborn had the vaccine 2 years ago (we brought his baby book as proof). They had it photocopied. My youngest and my wife had their booster shot 4 days later. So, I had to bring back the vaccination certificate. I passed my medical on July 7th. My wife and my youngest son passed theirs on July 10th.

Anyway, I guess you dont have to worry about the vaccine. You passed the medical exam. Im not just sure if your uni/college will ask for your immunization history.

Did you pay for study permit for your son? I read somewhere kasi na minors won’t need study permit if their parents have valid SP or WP.

Sa SOP ko i made a rough draft and an expert English Ielts teacher with overall bandscore of 9 (ielts clinic owner) helped me and chedked my grammar. I paid 500php for that. So cheap and the letter was excellent. I am a nurse in the philippines with 6 years work experience as a nurse, married with 2 kids baby 1 (5y.o.) baby 2 (1y.o). My babies and husband will follow after 6-8 months. Hopefully.

I recieved my passport with the canda visa stamp yesterday ,I still cant believe. God is good.

Here in the Philippines there are variations to the timeframe. However the IRCC site says they process for 20 days beginning the day you give them your biometrics. In my case, however, I received the approval 16 days from the day I had my biometrics done

June 27 - submission of all requirements online
June 28 - biometrics request letter
July 2 - biometrics submission at VFS
July 17 - approval (correspondence and passport request) from IRCC

The day after submission of physical passport to VFS, my GCKey account has been updated again stating that the document (passport) I submitted is valid. It also displays the date of validity of the study permit/TRV they have granted. In my case, they have granted me 2 years, perhaps, since the master’s program I’m attending has that duration as stated in my acceptance letter from the University plus my statement of purpose.

I just received my letter of admission this month and this July 25 ko pa lang po maffile ang Regular Study Permit Application ko. Nakaregister na rin po sana ako for the Fall 2019 term. Medyo worried lang po ako kung makakaabot po kaya ako for the Sept 3 start of classes..
I actually applied separately for the Biometrics Enrollment Appointment on July 26 dahil sabi sa VFS helpline ay pwede naman daw po. So how long does it usually take to receive the letter para sa Medical Exam and paano po yung process?

Kung wala kang hit, same day naman makukuha. Try to find other nbi outlets or centers na mas maaga ka makakapagset ng appointment date. Mas mainam sa mga robinsons or sm mag pa appoint. Kasi minsan meron ng available slots kinabukasan.

We did not pay for study permit for our 2 kids (2 and 1 y.o.). TRV lng po iapply nmin.
