Thanks for clarifying. We did not receive this kind of letter. Is receiving this kind of letter crucial to anyone's study permit/SOWP?

Yes. Nagsend na po ako actually last night, yung processing time kasi nung nagapply ako is 6weeks, tapos 4 weeks nalang nga ngayon. Still waiting. Worry ko lang if ever positive, magahol ako sa oras.

Have you tried sending an inquiry thru webform? Sabi ng CIC website 4 weeks na lang ang Regular Stream processing (from 6 weeks).

This isn't ture for me. i lodged June 11th eh, but Im still stuck in elegibility review until now. Anyway, hoping for positive feedback from them soon!

Yes po. Done with my biometrics last May and I have the number, valid for 10years. Or there is another letter for that? I am always checking my gckey acct and email everyday. Wala naman akong pending actions to be done.

Yes there's an official letter daw. Yun yung matagal. hehe.

kailan ba magstastart ang processing? kapag ba napasa na lahat ng documents including biometrics at medical?

CIC website says once lodged na ung application and submitted na ung biometrics. I was following few cases here in this forum and plotted their timelines in a spreadsheet. I noted that for both SDS or Reg Stream, processing starts when complete documents and biometrics are received by IRCC. It looks like appliation submitted in the Philippines are being processed 30 days (+/- 2).

Just a forecast, the following forum-mates may expect updates on the ff days (+/- 2):

1. gwentysomething - July 19th
   
2. claremorito - July 14th
   
3. catpaws14 - July 20th
4. lopi14 - Aug 4th
5. rain143 - Aug 1st
6. roks - Aug 11th
