Question po, un uncle ko s Ontario saknila ako mgstay during my entire studies, ano ang need ko po na docs from them? Affidavit of accommodation lang ba? Thanks po.
Naguluhan po ako bigla, is it true na after 6 months from the start of our study bago mabibigyan nang permit to work-off campus? Although, I've read po na (some) of approved student visa received 2 permits at the border, student permit and co-op permit (sa pagkakaintindi ko, they have this because their program needs to have such permit) while others were saying na if allowed to work-off campus naka-indicate na sa paper na marereceive dito sa pilipinas.
I've read din po yung qualified to be given a work-off campus permit sa cic. Clarifications lang po. Please and thank you.
Walang katotohanan yang 6 months bago mabigyan ng work off campus. Walang off campus work permit ngayon. When your full time study starts pwede ka na magtrabaho ng 20hrs/week off campus. If your LOA needs a coop work permit biibgyan ka sa border niyan
May nakatry na bang mag activate ng study permit from inside Canada? Ano yung process?
Nag apply kasi ako ng study permit while in Canada at nakakuha na ako ng approval, pero sa pagkakaintindi ko, nakukuha yung study permit at the point of entry. May nabasa ako about flagpoling pero medyo alangan ako sa process. May ibang paraan kaya?

Hi! I'm new here and I would like to ask a few of your insights regarding Study Permit Application here in the Philippines.
I already have a school and I would like to bring my spouse with me on dependent visa but we are looking into applying through the Study Direct Stream. I have a few queries which I hope someone could help me understand the process.
1. How to apply for dependent visa?
2. Can my spouse apply for dependent together with my study permit application through Study Direct Stream?
3. If yes, what is the cost of GIC I should purchase if with a dependent?
4. If we opt to secure a study permit first, when can we apply for a dependent visa?
5. Can we apply for a dependent visa while the approved study permit holder is still in PH? So that we can travel together?
6. Which is better, have the sds with dependent in one application or secure study permit first once approved, start application for dependent visa
Hoping for your insights especially those who have had a similar case to mine.
I tried emailing VFS but all they gave me was links to websites I have already read.

Hi! I'm also applying for Study Permit. I have done my research but i will lodge my applications on May-June. My classes will start on August.
here's my answer on your question:
1. you can apply your spouse for OWP (Open Work Permit)
2. yes. you can add her to your Study Permit (SP) application. however, based on my research it would be better to apply SP first then once approve, apply your spouse for OWP/dependent visa.
3. SDS requires that you transfer 10k CAD for GIC. that is the Maximum amount you can transfer on Scotia Bank. other bank docs such as Proof of Funds, bank statements can support the additional cost of your spouse
4. Once you secure your SP, you can apply your spouse for OWP. This would require documents such as Proof of Funds, etc
5. Yes. better to submit your documents early. SDS would take 30 days processing
6. SDS for Study Permit then once approve, dependent visa/OWP after.
good day! Nag lodge po ako ng application ko s vfs nung march 23 then n received n dw nila but till now there's no update po.. Normal lng po b un? nag worry kc ako kung kailngn ko m b ifollow up.. Thanks
