Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hello All!

Query lang. I'm feeling anxious na talaga. Malapit na opening ng Fall intake and wala pang update sa visa application ko. I lodged my application together with husband and 1yr old child last Aug 25.

Should I expect an application denial anytime since hindi ko for sure aabutin ang Sept 5 opening? Paadvice naman po what should i do now or what should i do next in case madeny yung application namin

May chance pa rin na mapprove yung application mno pero yun nga baka lumabas yun october 20 pa. 8 weeks on average ang approval ng student visa. Baka january ka na makapag aral niyan

May tanong po ako, winnipeg po destination namin pero sobrang mahal ng tickets.mas mura yung mga flights na manila-US-winnipeg. First time to enter canada, okay lang po ba kahit hindi sa vancouver or toronto or edmonton ang point of entry? thanks po

Thanks kapatid. Would they do that? Like yung LOA ko from school is for fall intake eh. Also, the school advised me na in case madelay yung visa talaga, i must reapply for the next term na. Bayad ulit shoooots

Medyo tight po yata ang time line ninyo. What I would do is to ask the school if they can admit you for the next semester just incase. Medyo late na po kasi kayo nag submit. The fastest I've seen here is 28 days po yata.

Yes Mr, Mic, medyo mahuli talaga yung application at nadelay kami sa NSO marriage cert. I already asked the school if they could accommodate me on the next term and they replied na i need to reapply again. My gulay. Another cost again

Yup. Naapprove yung visa dun sa isang tinulungan ko after na ng pasukan. We have to pull out kasi baka madeny sayang yung $8,000 na tuition pero yun nga pumasa pero wala ng school sa canada. So hanap ibang school na same course na different intake. The final yes pa rin is still sa immigration officer sa port of entry. So mga visa offer medyo walang pake sa intake mo kasi alam nila na pwede ka mag defer tapos may immigration officer na magchecheck if student ka pa talaga.
