Walang semestral break dito.

There's a one week break in the middle of each term called "reading week." For Winter term (Jan - April), it's mid-February. Then two weeks between Winter term and Summer term. I'm not sure lang when exactly ang reading week ng summer term.

Yung mga nagstart lang ng september ang may mga ganung break.
Sep - Dec = 1 Sem
Jan - April = 1 Sem
May - Aug = Sem break
Then repeat sem for 2nd year

Walang summer break na ganyan.
It's either you get them at May-Aug or not.
Start kasi ng school is Sep or Jan kadalasan.

Yep kapatid is right. Most of my classmates who came in during summer di nag break. I'm not sure if you can take one semester off if Summer intake ka kasi hindi siya official school break. You probably can but check with CIC or your school's international department

Yeheeey! ansaya nman po. September intake po ksi akuh sa NAIT Edmonton. Mahabang panahon mkapag full-time work pag ganito kahaba ung break hehe

Silly question and might not be related to this post but ill go for it anyway
Planning to get a new phone. Is it more practical to buy here in the Phils before I leave or just get one in Canada (with postpaid plan)? I have no idea how phones work differently in a different place and kung which option ako makaka save

I just followed the steps on the CIC website using the GCkey. Try it again and make sure lang na you enter the accurate info. Had to repeat this process because I keyed in the wrong data the first time

I know this was asked previously but I just want to make sure before booking a flight. My flight itinerary is Manila-Vancouver-Toronto. Saan po kaya ako dadaan na immigration(point of entry)? Sa Vancouver po ba or Toronto? Layover time in Vancouver is around two hours.
