Im about to lodge my application pero nagdadalawang isip parin ako if isassbay ko na si common law. Really torn about it. The only reason kung bakit di ko siya masabay ay dahil kukulangin na ang funds ko. At least pag mag isa siya nag apply as owp, may sarili siyang funds.
As long as malakas talaga ties mo sa home country isabay mo na, but if not marereject lang. Gandahan mo letter of explanation mo hehe

Kaya nga po work permit dahil magwork, and visitor visa dahil di magwork.

Walk in po ba pde na or need appt?
Okay, just received bad news again. My wife's TRV application was refused today. Iba na naman ngayon ang reasons. I am going to post the reasons for refusal sa OWP niya first and then reasons for refusal sa TRV nya.
OWP Reasons for Refusal:
- purpose of visit
- employment prospects in country of residence
- current employment situation
- Other reasons: There are less than 6 months remaining on your spouse`s study permit. I do not find it reasonable to
seek an open work permit at this time.
Reapplied for TRV - Refused Again with the following reasons:
- travel history
- Family ties in Canada and in country of residence
- Current employment situation
- Personal assets and financial status
Properties in your name or sa kanya? Investments/business?
TIA!

Refused for OWP on April 24th, reapplied for TRV on the 27th. The odd thing is, sa OWP pa lang, sinabi na sana nila sa refusal yung ties, personal asssets and financial status, and travel history nya.
My wife is only 21, she just graduated with a bachelor's degree 2 years ago. She is the Municipal Tourism Officer sa town nila. Wala pa kaming anak. Hindi pa ako nag apply ng PGWP kase sinabi ko sa invitation letter ko sa wife ko uuwi ako ng pinas kasama wife ko after graduation if ever they grant her the visa para masabi nila na uuwi talaga ang wife ko.

Note: As an international student in Canada, it is your responsibility to ensure that you continue to meet the
conditions of your study permit, including the requirement to actively pursue studies. Your study permit will
automatically become invalid 90 days after you complete your study program, regardless of the expiry date
indicated on your study permit.

Sa pagkakaaalam ko you have to wait for your PGWP bago ka lumabas ng bansa kasi once na magexpire yung study permit mo on implied status ka na while waiting for PGWP.
Then they wait for PGWP.
