Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Just an update lang po nag request na ng passport namin. Ang bilis lang ng processing ngayon exactly 1 month meron ng result. bsta ok ang medical and all documents.

I got my approval in UAE. I think it's easier than applying from Philippines because I was not required to take medical exam.

Wow! though I am still waiting for the school decision but to know na walang medical requirement if coming from UAE (me and my family are based in dubai) - that is like a cool breeze of relief!

Hoping that it is still the case till now.

sa mga magssubmit palang ng application, mag-upfront medical at ipasa niyo ang police and nbi clearances niyo para di madelay processing ng application niyo. if di kayo magsubmit, after nila magrequest pipila ulit ang application niyo kaya tatagal lalo processing.

hi scorpio, confirm ko lang po kung from middle east ang application nyo ng SP.. nabasa ko lang na di ka ngsubmit ng upfront medical...

Hindi ako yun, that was my classmate tipsy. And yes, applications from middle east usually don't require a medical exam na kasi mas strict ang medical requirements diyan.

Hi! When is the right time I can send a case inquiry sa embassy? Normal processing time is back to 7 weeks. My application is more than 8 weeks na. Classes will start May 8.

Usually nagsisilabasan ang mga request ng visa last week of the month... usually.
So have patience.

May mga medically required country and isa na dun ang Philippines.
Hindi lahat ng country medically required for an examination.

If online application kung ano current address mo yun yung visa post na magproprocess ng application mo.
Pero kung paper based application ka pwede mo isend by mail and pwede yun.
You can apply in the country you are legally accepted to or your country of nationality.

ano ung purpose na nilagay ninyo? Nalito ako kung ang ilalagay ko ay "School Visa", "Travel to Canada", or "Visa Canada"... Wala kasing option na "Others" eh balak ko sanang ilagay na for Canada study permit application ang ilalagay ko...

Or it doesn't matter which of these options I choose kasi parehas lang?

SCHOOL VISA yung purpose ng NBI Clearance ko. naaccept, naapprove and nandito na ako sa canada

got it thanks! yung nagpolice clearance ka ba, nagpresent ka pa ba ng barangay clearance at cedula? or kahit two government IDs nalang sufficient? outdated na kasi yung mga info at requirements na nakikita ko online eh...

Suggestion ko lng po dun sa mga waiting, pa renew nyo na ang passport nyo kasi ang validity ng visa mag depend lang sa validity ng passport. Sayang nga lang hindi ko napa renew agad. Pero sabi madali nlng naman daw mag request ng visa extension.
