Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hello guys paano kayo nag-apply sa university? I have PR visa na. Just want to know about the process. I studied 1 year college in the Philippines and just want to continued it in Canada. I was advised to take high school courses again but I want to get my foreign college subjects credited too. Did anyone used WES? Did you also take IELTS or any English test? Thanks so much!

PS. York university, U of Waterloo and Western are my target uni's.

Yes WES and IELTS. For wes and ielts just go to their website and it will tell you the infor you need. I go to uWaterloo and when i applied i had to show them my wes assessment and IELTS academic results.

Naku, sayang ang IELTS ko. Nagtanong na ako sa kanila, full na raw yung gusto kong course sa kanila. Sa August na uli ang intake.

Marami yata talaga gusto magaral sa Bow Valley.

Bow Valley College they dont require Ielts. better Join ka din s forum

Med - Passed lang ang last update. Sana this month may result na. Sa AOLC sa BC ako, private sya, dun kasi ako inenrol ng tito ko. Pero ang plan ko pagdating na lang doon ako mag transfer. Ikaw sang school?

Good day! Newbie here. First off, super thanks sa mga nagrereply lalo dun sa mga nasa Canada na and helping pa din.

Question lang about dependent. Kung isasama ako ng partner ko required ba ako magwork? Sadyang clingy lang kasi kami sa isa't isa. Pero more on para magtulungan kami. May businesd kami na registered na virtual office sya. So kahit san ako pwede ko gawin. Taxes and registration ko, may nagaasikaso kahit wala ako sa Pilipinas. Pwede ba yun sumama lang ako? Or need ko magwork talaga? Thanks.

me, too. sent my application exactly a month ago.

planning on my second step now~
will resend my application with the following conditions:
1. i hired an agent based in canada, planning to reapply on my own. how?
2. sent my application thru online, will submit na thru paper. should i resend the same materials using application no. and uci?
3. these are the reasons of refusal:
a. travel history: i've been to singapore, malaysia, thailand and south korea
b. purpose of vist
c. employment prospect in country of residence
d. personal assets: got my support from sister who's a citizen now in canada and 1m in my bank account

1. Compile mo lang hard copies ng mga sinend mo online.
2. You can use some of your previous documents. Pero sa mga forms and proof of means of financial support better kung kuha ka ng bago para sure.
3.
a. May specific bang sinabi tungkol dito?
b. Baka di mo na-explain ng maayos yung purpose mo
c. I think they're asking kung saan mo maa-apply yung pag-aaralan mo kapag bumalik ka na sa bansa.
d. Kulang siguro pinasa mo sa kanila na proof. Nagpasa ka ba ng notarized letter of support/invitation from your sister?
