Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hi guys! Super thankful to everyone here especially to those who I keep kuliting with pms and questions hehe. Just got my passport request today!

Share ko lang timeline ko:
Applied (online): October 17
Upfront Medical: October 16
Medical Passed: October 30
Passport Request: December 8

This forum really helped, I learned alot! Thanks again guys! Will continue praying for those who are still waiting for their results. To God be the glory!

Pls what time of the day did they request for your passport?

I agree, the older you are, the lesser points you will get through EE, but you can also apply under CEC and PNP (under International student or skilled worker with Job offer) entry streams even if you are in 40s (just my thoughts).

Yup. These are the options they are looking into now kasi hirap talaga sila sa english. PNPs, while costly, also boosts up the points too. Hopefully, 8 months from now they can apply for CEC na kasi ang ganda ganda na ng work nila hehe

One of my friend got approval for Australia Study permit and now he got Acceptance from Canadian University.........and want to apply for Canada Study permit .
Please suggest what to do?
There will be any problem or not?

I applied my daughter through student permit, i filed it last Oct 26, she already did her medical. but i was just wondering her account says that they haven't received the medical yet. But clinic already sent it and they have ref #.
Did someone encountered same situation here?

Is there an Oct applicant here? Until now im waiting for the update.

3) Hire a an authorized representative with expertise in study permit if you do not have time and will power to do your own research.

Hi, I have applied my Student Visa last week of October- 1st week of November. January 2018 intake at Conestoga College. I've been worried about the result of my visa since it is 9-10weeks of processing. Start Date of my school is January 15 but i should register from January2-January 12. I need to be in Canada before January 15. I am hoping na makahabol, is there anyone of you who applied from those dates? Di kasi ako mapakali. Please need some help and advices.

Just to add, the international centers of schools can also answer questions. I've asked them numerous times via email and they respond within a day or two. In humber for example, they have an entire team just for this kasi ang laki ng market and kita sa international student. Ang bayad natin is around 7.5k per sem pero ang domestic is nasa 3k lang. Ang saklap di ba? Pero worth it naman in the end hehe

What happened right after? 1year na work diba po? so bale 2years in total. after po ba nun nakauwi kayo ng Pinas? what happened po sainyo after ng 2years?

I also applied on 21st sept (online) from south korea. I was refused on 13th Nov for missing proof of current studies. I reapplied via vfs on
15th Nov. Medical passed .. waiting for decision. Did you pass medical yet?
