Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Mas maaga ka pala nagsubmit compare samin baka mas mauna yun result mo. cg ha keep us posted tiwala lang.

Akala ko kasi yung count ng weeks if from their receipt of the medicals. I had mine done Dec 23 pero CIC got the results Jan 7.
Sana nga lumabas na results soon di na ako makatulog kakaisip haha ???

Hi guys glad to know kung sinu ung mga applicants na almost same ng timeline skin..8th week ko na ngayon bale next week is ika 9th week na..what i did is nagemail ako sa school informing them na wla pa rin akong visa, baka lng kasi may kilala cla sa embassy na mkatulong..i processed with the help sa agency kaya nagemail din ako sa kanila na kung pwede ba mag follow up na cla habang may oras pa kasi aanhin ko naman ang visa kung start na ng class..haayy positive updates na sana tayong lahat

Yeah I heard delayed na nga processing ng visitors, students and workers and all officers have actually been asked to help for 1 month at a time (my turn in April pa tho). They can follow up in cic.gc.ca. ---> so natambakan nga ata sila dahil sa student fair nila peru dapat fair din sila to process yung mga unang ng lodge ng applications tama? hihi

Yeah I heard delayed na nga processing ng visitors, students and workers and all officers have actually been asked to help for 1 month at a time (my turn in April pa tho). They can follow up in cic.gc.ca. ---> so natambakan nga ata sila dahil sa student fair nila peru dapat fair din sila to process yung mga unang ng lodge ng applications tama? hihi

How can we follow-up sa cic.gc.ca? Sayang kasi if we miss the start of classes. In my case since private school, I've already paid 8k cad and the school is asking for another 6k cad by the 26th. Ayaw ko na muna maglabas ng money since wala pang word about my study permit..

Nako angel I just checked a while ago at ang processing time ng Philippines is now 9 weeks na sa cic website.. Last time ng check ako 8 weeks, peru yun unang check ko tlga before kame ng lodge is 7 weeks. Ano ba yun paiba iba sa cic my link dun na pwde ka mg international case specific inquiry ng submit ako ngayon hapon lng tpos wait daw for normal 28 days na reply period nila. Shocks dun palang sa reply mag aantay ka pa rin

Naku Oshin, I just did the same thing! hehe. naunahan mo lang ako ;D Nakita ko nga na as of February 17, 2016 na update nila, 9 weeks na young processing time. When I lodged my application, 7 weeks rin. Last week when I checked, naging 8 weeks.. now 9 na.

I think pwde na considering the processing time nila 9 weeks. I have seen several indian forum sa kabila na for sept intake and my visa na.

Kelangan po ba may bank account na sa Canada pag nag apply ng study permit or pwede namang yung dito na lang muna?

When u receive ur LOA they will ask u to pay 1k CAD for seat reservation kasi if u dont pay the reservation within 30 days ibibigay nila ung seat mo sa iba and i-cacancel ung LOA mo. After i paid the 1k they just give me the receipt.ang ipapakita mo sa study permit application mo is ung LOA kasi without it they will not process ur application and include the receipt also..

i got the letter na from saskpoltech that states conditionally accepted, i need to pay $1k nga daw wihtin 30 days and submit college tor. ibabalik pa ba nila yung tor ko if ever? and with regards to my nbi nagapply na kasi ako last week and planning to submit sa embassy my docs early may pa siguro. kailangan ba within 3 months issued yung isusubmit ko? napaaga yata. will be needing pa kasi my passport kaya may nalang since september intake pa din naman ako. thank you very much for your help! ;D ;D ;D

and regarding pala sa show money~ $10k (for 12-month period) plus tuition fee, right? i'll be studying 2-year program. dapat ba $10k times 2 and tuition times 2 din?
