hi hopefulforever, I think you have to get a separate work permit for co-op courses, but I'm not very familiar with the procedure etc. Better to inquire with the international student center at your college to be sure.

@ AAM1218 - once tapos na ung medical mo, usually, sinasubmit na nila sa embassy ung results w/in a week. And may access nman cguro ung embassy sa database ng St Lukes, kaya dnt worry about it na.
this week na siguro yang update, micmic. Kasi usually it takes one week for the results and a few days more for the embassy to receive it.
Marami ka pang oras for September. Ako nga nag-aantay for my sputum test results hindi pa nga kinakabahan eh
scorpio is right micmic, you still have plenty of time for your Sep intake ako June ang intake pero la pa rin update in mycic after the "PASSED" medical exam thingy. Sana umabot ako on-time, mahal pa naman mag defer sa school ko
Thank you dear friends for the moral boost! Na-stress lang kasi ako when my mom told me what she overheard last night from people talking about Canada. Ang sabi daw ay 90 days ang waiting to get the visa (once you submitted yours)... Kaya bigla ako na-stress hehe Atsaka gusto ko sana umabot ng CN Day (Canada National Day yata ang full name) kasi hindi ko siya naikot ng husto the last time. Tapos meron din Rib Fest sa July.. So I'm hoping abutan ko lahat yun.. And kasal pa ng pinsan ko sa August
^^ Student visa timelines are different. 10 weeks ang processing time na nakalagay sa Canadian embassy website, but as you can see from the people here recently halos one month lang ang processing (unless may problema). Careful lang, coz you can't come to Canada too early. Ask lang from around the forum how soon you can go.
Thanks Scorpio! I plan to be there around 3rd week of July. Wedding of my cousin is on 2nd week of August so I guess ok pa naman. If all goes well, I'll be coming back to Canada exactly one year from my firt visit
Laking pasalamat ko lang at it took only 2 days for the medical request once I lodged my application, pero napaparanoid lang ako kasi ang tagal naman ng sa medical

Hi micmic! just be patient lang. Online application ka ba? 2 days after my completion of Medical Exam pa nila na-uupdate ung Passed status ko.
It took them 16 days after the PASSED status in my medical exam to have my passport request. Hintay ka lang and it'll come. See you sa canada
S-1 lang sakin... pero sabi sa link na ito http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/difference-between-s1-and-sw1i-got-t171531.0.html
