I have been following a number of threads on here to see if there is any movement from the Hamilton Processing Centre. So far, I have not come across any applicant from Hamilton who have received virtual oath invite and was wondering what is going on here in Hamilton. There seem to be a fair bit of activity from other processing centres and I am wondering if virtual ceremonies will become a thing in Hamilton. As for myself, I applied for citizenship grant in March 2019 and wrote the citizenship test on November 21, 2019. My status changed to decision made the following day and I have been waiting patiently ever since. If you are being processed at the Hamilton office or know someone with movement, can you share some update? Or, if you find yourself in the same situation as myself, feel free to drop a comment! It is frustrating! What makes it even worse is the fact that there seems to be no progress happening at the Hamilton office. I am yet to see/or hear from anyone being processed at the Hamilton office with a virtual oath invite. Do you know of any lucky person who has?
I was informed by a relative that their coworker's wife, who I know and is an acquaintance of mine, did their virtual oath last week. They were processed at the Hamilton office. Hearing that piece of information confirmed for me that there is movement at the office. That's some good news!

I don't know their exact timeline, but I know they applied before me and I applied in March 2019. Are you a Hamilton applicant? If so, what is your timeline?
Nope, I had my test on March 5th. Now I changed my address to BC and down't really know which office is going to send me a virtual ceremony if they are going to send me one!

Oh boy! At the rate at how things are moving at the Hamilton office, you have a better chance hearing from the BC office sooner than the Hamilton office if your application is forwarded soon. Goodluck!
Thanks, but as I anticipated my file is up in the air now. I called CIC today, my address has been changed in the system but the physical file hasn't been transferred yet. They sent a note to Hamilton's office but no action yet. I changed my address about 4 weeks go
