Hi all,
I score 83 points without French although I can speak French pretty well. Is there any point in me trying to claim points for it and doing the TEF test as I would prefer to save the money and avoid the hassle of it. Just wondering if they look on your application any more favourably if you have more points but my guess is they don't.
Thanks,
Derek
your points more than enough. If you fall in between the list of 38
Good luck
83 points u are more that good to go.
Equal or more 67 points have same importance. Either "Yes" or "No". Very valid point from "Bluepine" that if you fall in atleast one out of 38 categories.
Yes! french and more and more points help you in settling in Canada very much easily than anyone who scores around 67 points. One of the advantage having good enough scores is you can get very good job in shortest time

your points are more than enough....you only need to have 67 and as amerzd said all applications regardless points are euually treated so there is no point in wasting money for TEF tes - however you can write in your application that you know French very well.
