Wife's POB as per Passport : Cheriathura

Both these places are in the same state. Have given Passport amendment to match Birth Ceritificate, will take 60 days! Want to apply now, what POB shall i give? Been waiting for 11 months to apply!!!

Also , Do they pick every candidate in the pool that is above the minimum threshold or what?

They choose every candidate above the minimum cutoff
Your chances are brighter of being selected in the next draw

First of all I would like to know how many points r there for having relative in Canada in the 1200 points crs system? Also would like to know is there any points that I can claim for my wife's 6 month work experience in Singapore as myself being the main applicant..

There are no points advantage in ee for relatives un Canada
U can surely claim points for ur wife experience
But i think minimum u can claim is one year experience

You could have used the one in passport...post ITA you are not requested for birth certificate...unless your wife is principal applicant and you are looking for ontario pnp...

I am planning to do my PR landing at the border by using rental car. I am thinking to fly to Buffalo Airport. I understand there are 4 bridges there between Canada & USA. Can you please suggest which bridge is good for PR landing & coming back by AVR.

Use passport one...as i said one does not need birth certificate unless you are looking for pnp...some provinces ask for birth certificate but not cic...birth certificate only required for children.

Thanks Asivad and nickarter84 for the clarification. Currently I'm working as Assistant Maintenance Electronics Engineer. I tried to search in cic and can't figure out NOC code relating to my job. Any idea?

The easiest way is to send an email to
NOC@workingincanada.gc.ca

List all your duties and responsibilities

they would tell you about your NOC code within 2-3 days.
