Hi Asivad Anac, I am a little confused with the currency converter to be use in Settlement Fund. The agent who assessed us says we will be using CAD$45 as the exchange rate. Is this true? Or should we use the prevailing exchange rate? Please help. Thanks.

Hello, need some advice on this, I am married and I entered my spouse information in my profile and she is not contributing any points in the score but the system has generated all points for me as for a single applicant. I did receive ITA. What should I do.
My wife and I are applying through FSW program, we have 434 points and we got an invitation to apply from Ontario under the human capital stream they are offering.
The question is, do you think our chances to get selected through Canada's express entry system without the need of a provincial nomination is good enough to ditch Ontario's invitation and save the 1500 CAD fees?

If you are getting no CRS points and/or program eligibility points based on spouse IELTS, education and work experience, you can safely remove them from your profile.

Tough one. The temptation to wait it out will always be there given that the cutoff fell to 451.
It depends on when you got the OOPNP invite. You have 45 days to send in the paper application to Ontario. Wait till the 40th day and send it out. It will still be worth the 1500 CAD risk (it is a risk because that money is non-refundable unless MCIIT refuses your application and there are hardly any ways of stopping MCIIT from cashing out your draft) because there is no guarantee that cutoff falls below 450 in the short term.
Having said that, it is your decision. Whether to play a 1500 CAD gamble or not.
You can remove your spouse's education and work experience from your profile if that has been entered. You cannot remove your spouse from your profile though.

She does not have any credentials for her education and her work experiencing is less than 8 months,
Which means her contribution is zero. But since I am married why is the system considering me as a
Single applicant and calculates my score
