As explorer said PR card is sent to you by CIC by ordinary post only. You don't have to do anything and just look for the mail in your mail box. If it is to be send outside Canada there is no problem if any one send your PR card through a reputed courier like DHL, FedEx,UPS or any other leading service in the region.
Keep the PR card in a secured envelop, mention proper address with phone number.......... that is all.
