Has anyone recently been requested to send his/her passport to Buffalo to get the PR stamp?
I submitted my medical exams on July 08 and my landing fee was cashed, but I haven't had any notice from them since then.
Do you know something about a yearly quota on PRs for Buffalo CIC?
Buffalo applicants, could you please share your experience?
From what I saw in various online forms there seems to be a quota issue especially since CEC class was announced and some of the existing FSW quota is diverted to CEC. Since October there are hardly any PPR's issued from Buffalo office. Who ever had their medical done around July and later are waiting for PPR's. Hopefully things may start moving starting December 2008/January 2009. There seems to be a quota of 24,000 for Buffalo and it may be even less because of CEC quota announced this year. Hope this helps and lets keep our fingers crossed.
