Reasons :
1. I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
2. Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of: your qualifications, previous
studies, mark sheets, academic record, level of establishment, language abilities, and/or your
future prospects and plans.
so sorry to hear that. purpose of visit usually links to choice of programme. What is ur background and what was the programme
u applied for? if you dont mind sharing.
I have a 9 year study gap but have been working all these years. My work experience is distributed amongst Client Servicing, CRM and most recently in Corporate Planning Finance in which I have been working for last two years. I chose Financial Planning at Humber as my course, which is a 1 year certificate course.
My Bachelors is in Arts and I do not have the relevant scores in my graduation to apply for a Masters course in Canada. Hence I applied for a certificate course. Have to convince the VO somehow that this course will actually help me. Which in reality it will. I did write a strong SOP but I guess I will have to make it stronger.
Going to reapply through SDS now. Have read articles and stats showing that in the last 2 quarters the acceptance rate for NON-SDS has fallen to 40% which for SDS it is between 70-80%.

I will have to agree with shsdjfhere that IRCC is really up to some weird shit. So long story short, I was told that my biometrics weren't required and they still didn't request biometrics after 9 weeks despite I have never submitted one even with my past approved applications. Recently I emailed them and stated my situation and they told me I was exempt because I was under 14 when I applied for my last application, which it was a PGWP in 2019 so no way I was under 14! Now they are asking me to make a payment for biometrics and submit the proof. Like what the actual f! But I guess still, it's some updates, which is good.
