This is incorrect, the entire paper application is scanned and uploaded on GCMS. The paper application is then archived by a third-party government contractor who keeps it for five years after a decision is made on the application. Therefore, officers could still work from home on paper application.
I can’t tell you why they haven’t worked on your application particularly. But IRCC can’t clearly handle the amount of applications, the pandemic, their outdated technology and processing system. It’s a mess
I ordered my notes on March 30, last week I received that there will be delay in the processing time and the notes will be sent to me on May 31...so even here it's waiting
Is the Edmonton office working at all? Absolute disaster this is! With availability of vaccinations, you will think updates should start rolling in.
Really eager to know everyone's view of how and if we can make a case to get Edmonton office into motion.
I still haven't received an email yet but my status on the new application status system is changed to citizenship test In Progress and online test must be taken between June 4, 2021, and June 25, 2021.
I am a June 2019 applicant, FP submitted twice and earlier in old system it was showing " Decision made" but with new application tracker it is showing in process.
Anyone noticed the same thing??
And ya Edmonton office is not even going at a snail pace..
