Omg that's at the 2year mark already. I got so worried and started checking what qualifies for urgent processing as it would be two years for me in March also. After the oath one still has a wait period for certificate then processing passport. It's so so sad. Saw on a thread someone waiting for certificate for an oath conducted two(2) months ago.
Hopefully with the potential for the province to start lifting restrictions we can see some movement in files. I work for Govt and yes we hold ourselves highly accountable as public servants but I guess ircc is outside of this equation

My wife works for the Federal government as well. She's got several different ongoing performance metrics she needs to meet in order to keep her job (although with the unions I don't know how successful they are at removing problematic employees). IRCC appears to have none of those. They also appear to have no oversight whatsoever.
I've told my wife I may run for MP if only to help establish some form of Ombudsman for IRCC: a neutral party within IRCC that can investigate complaints and take action.
I am from Edmonton, my pack is with Vancouver is that normal ?
I wasn’t aware that your location dictated the office who deal with it ?
did the test and passed in December, everything is ‘complete’, except the oath ceremony, which says ‘ not yet started’
I’m ready to wait most of this year for the oath, if it’s earlier, that’s a bonus.

If you live near Edmonton and gave them a local address when you applied, then Edmonton is (in all probability) your office. Location does dictate processing after AOR/data entry.
Fingerprint requests come from Vancouver. Paper file remains at local office.
My test was in June 21, I had oath ceremony in late January this year. It can be a long wait.
