Hi,
I am a dentist with canadian experience only. I can't get any points for work experience as technically, I am an independent contractor even though I am full time employed in a practice. Does anybody have this problem too?
I cannot apply through CEC so it seems like the only option is FSWP. Has anybody looked at getting an LMIA to boost points?
Thanks in advance
Greetings
I'm a dentist from Pakistan and my wife is a lawyer. After doing some research on EVA, I found out that IQAS evaluation is the one that recognizes first professional degreeas compared to WES. Can anyone share his research or experience on this

I don't quite understand your question but I'm a dentist and I used WES, my report said 5 years of professional study in dentistry, first professional degree. I hope that answers you.
Thanks. My university is not named in the list of universities the wes evaluate. I was planning to use IQAS. My question is would IQAS Consider my 4 years bachelor of dental sugery from Pakistan as first professional degree..
Thank you health cliff for sharing your experience. From which country have you done your dentistry?

from the CIC website, dentistry assessment requires 4 to 7 years of professional study in dentistry so I 'think' you should be good, Im sorry I cant help you with IQAS cause I only know wes, better email them or something.
I am dentist with 4+ year of exp. Ielts lL:8.5,R:8.5,S:7.5,W:7.0. crs 467. Missed nov 16 draw by just 3 points and now i dont believe draw will go down below 470. Will try pnp but i dont know if its possible to get pnp w/o license for practice.
Can u shed some more light on how u got it, what was your crs etc. I am planing pnp too because i dont see any other way forward after new rules and this month long delay.
