I received PPR too and I sent my passport to Ankara by Nilgam last week. I used their service for renewing my husband's passport a few years ago and as I know passports are carried by a person.it seems better to take risks to miss your flight.

I received a message from Nilgam that your passport is delivered on Friday so nothing after that. As I know and based on previous cases for Iranians it takes around a month to get their passport back if there is no problem. I hope to receive it as soon as possible.

Yes there are people still waiting from 2019 so its no surprise for you to not have received any update. Same with me and many others who applied before the date you mentioned. But did you get medical and biometrics done ? What does it say when you login to your ecas account?

Sorry I just saw this now. No my husband did not get any medicals or biometrics done, it was not requested yet. in gckey they are still "reviewing" or "in process" absolutly nothing. I don't understand is this normal

My wifes application was received Jan 2020 and we still havent got the biometrics request and they will never reply to questions but when i ordered GCMS notes i found out they paused the request because of Covid 19. However we got Medical done back in March. Maybe you should try ordering gcms notes as well. Have you paid the $85 biometrics fee along with the other application fees?

I am January 2020 as well. Did they pause the whole application or just the biometrics request? This is unbelievable. Can it be a follow up on the new Covid restrictions and hotel quarantin?

No they just sent PPR for some Dec applicants lately so i dont think they paused the whole thing. Also i feel like my wife is the only one from Jan 2020 who did not ever get a biometrics request. I know almost everyone else from Jan 2020 and before that date got it. Im assuming you got yours too right?

I'm scared that his Visa won't come out till the summer (August). Its taking soooooo long. This is my timeline:
Feburary 14, 2020 - My file was recieved (eligability to sponsor)
Mid March: Became eligable to sponsor
October 6, 2020: Quebec Selection form Came out and file was sent to Ankara
After that there was absolutly nooooo information ever.

Yes. I am Jan 23. Got the biometrics end of March 2020. It doesn't make sense to hold biometrics for Covid. Either people can travel and get it done or they can't. What does it have to do with the VO?
From my experience Ankara VO responds to emails most of the time.
I use my university email address (to get their attention) and write in the subject that I am Citizen/PR. I read on their website that they provide service to Canadians only.
They have to respond to MPs too.
I hope it works out for all of us soon.

I know its like our biometrics have been cursed for some odd reason. I tried emailing and mentioned everything but they just send me back a non sense automatic reply. I mean even if they send us the biometrics request im not even sure if my wife can travel to another country from Iran during this mess. So i guess we just have to wait. But if your case is complete hopefully you will hear the good news soon. Good luck

December applications got PPR. But I haven't seen any January app receiving any response. Based on the above table, some people (from Jan and after) should have prearrival at least.

Hi! Did you receive any update on eCAS about the PR application being started? We have almost the exact same timeless however I got my file sent to Ankara on October 30 and received the “PR application in process” on Jan. 7. Im wondering why its so random!
