Ankara - Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Applications

As far as I know, it starts on January 2nd 2014 and they will accept only 5000 sponsorship applications per year on first come first served base. More requirements to sponsor: they will need to show income for the last 3 years (in our case was the last year). The sponsorship obligations will be 20 years (in our case is 10 years)...

I had the same situation and they did not ask for police certificate .

My parents provided police certificate from the home country (Iran) when their file was transferred to Ankara last year and their medical results are there now. Is there another security clearance check after this or it has already been done?

for my parents case took around 2 weeks.

Did anybody receive the visas ? If you did, how long it took to issue the visas ?

Thank you, Alifka ! I hope that they will send me the passport request in January-February (do not know how long it would take for them to do the sequrity check up). Who else received visas ?

My parents did their medical in the first week of November. I do not see any update on the CIC website.

I hope that we all get visas in January-February

hi i have a couple of questions Can i apply my brother who is in canada?.he is a international student?
And another do have to be 3 consecutive years income for him....>
I just want to apply for my brother as my parents are not willing to come.will apply super visa for them..
