If you are applying under SPP, GIC is must.
You can also submit a proof of loan which you got for your studies instead of this GIC, but GIC makes your case much more stronger, and rejection rates are high if you haven't paid GIC.

Well I passed my Travel & Tourism Diploma in Sept 2008 & since then till now I have been working as a Travel Consultant in Travel Companies. Now I have going to study Recreational Management in Langara for September In-take 2013.
