I will finish my first PG Course(2 semesters) soon and plan to apply for another PG Course(2 semesters). After finishing two consecutive one-year PG Courses(2 semesters) am I eligible for a three-year work permit?
I am very confused right now, because some people told me I can some said I cannot.
One last question, Can international student get PR with a two-year work permit?

Your help is much appreciated.

Similar question. My situation is my graduate program is an extended one which lasts for 2 years. Normally it only requires 1 year to finish. So in this case is it eligible to get a 3 year work permit after graduation. Just planning to search for some Canadian official website regarding this.

It actually depends ... acc. to cic you have to pass a 2 year or equivalent term course to get 3 years pgwp . But i have seen many cases in which student gets 3 year pgwp by extending 8 months course to 2 years ( re-trying failed courses ) .

And some of my known got 3 years pgwp by 2 diffrent diploma's equivalent 8 mnths study .

So , it actually depends on your luck . These are my personal thoughts

And as far as PR is concerned , you can get it with 2 years pgwp also but you have to find the suitable province for you and be eligible acc. to the requirements of that province .

Hope it helps .... :)
