Almost a month passed after passport submission

Hi Friends,

I have submitted passports to High Commission of Canada, New Delhi on 14th of last month. Until now, I have not heard anything back from them. I tried calling VFS and Canadian High Commission but nothing worked.

My application is showing as APPROVED in CIC account. Please let me know how can I get the status of my passport. Is it normal NDVO takes this much of processing time? I heard in normal cases they take around only 10 working days. Thanks!

VFS status says, it is still processing at Canada visa office at New Delhi. I called them and they don't have any other information. I need my passport. Is there a way I can contact VISA officer directly ?

No, those Visa officers live on a different planet; literally!
Usually, the passports arrive VO's withing days passed submission and collect dust at the VO.
You should be getting yours back soon though!

It means your PP is still at NDVO. The status will be changed to something like "Sent to the local VF office" or something once it has been dispatched. When you get that status, you will receive PP in 2-3 days after that.
