Actually that is incorrect. Prearrival means nothing. There are lot of people who have received rejection after prearrival letter.

No, actually I got back from my MP and it says eligibility passed on same day I got pre arrival letter. so, it means we get pre arrival letter only after passing eligibility and if they put someone in interview que then they have to pass interview and then they get pre arrival letter. Rejections are possible after pre arrival but rare. In case, if someone failed their security check or medical exam then they send rejection after pre arrival. When did you got your pre arrival?

That is correct. You receive pre-arrival letter only after clearing eligibility(applicant).

Yes, its received after eligibility is passed. My spouse had a phone interview during first wave of COVID, after few days we got the Pre-Arrival letter.

Yep it was showing in process since April and then after few days of pre arrival changed to DM.
