Did anybody who got ghost updates on 17th october and 21st october got any other updates like pre arrival,inprocess,DM etc.I didnt got anything after the ghost updates so was wandering what can those ghost updates be for

We got ghost update on 17th October 2020 or 21st October after that our status was changed into in process from Application Received on 24th October 2020

hello guys I just checked my ECAS account and my PA status shows DM. but I didn't received anything. no email, no ghost update , no pre arrival either . Is that normal? I m August 12 2019 applicant. did anyone had the same experience? how long does it take to get PPR after that?

Yes I'm also August applicant and didn't receive pre arrival letter and my ECAS status shows decision made.

Our status also got changed too in process from application received on 24th oct. After that no update. No pre arrival as of now

Dont know about NDVO, but there was a member @passenger19 who got straight DM and a week later refusal. I hope this only applies to Warsaw!

Don’t worry about it
If there would have been any issues, they would have asked for an interview and if you got directly DM status without pre-arrival it means they approved your application
It has happened before with few people where they got decision first of approval and later on got pre-arrival
This is possible only if your file was complete and they didn’t ask for anything else before

NDVO is working on cases just relax and wait . all will be fine Canada has 86% spousal approval rate. DM is a good news that you are approved

this delay is due to COVID . In normal times total Outland application time they say is 12 months but I have seen people get approved in 7 months

2019 dec file move to NDVO and status change to application received
2020 oct 24 status change to in process from application received
Nothing after that. 1 year completed since application submitted.

Not necessary to get a pre arrival. Some directly get dm. Pre arrival just means that ur eligiblity is passed and they have started with security checks. Plus no interview. Some receive pre arrival along with their copr.
