We are sept 2019 applicants and file moved to NDVO in Jan 2020, principal applicants PCC expired today and file is still not in process. Do we need to submit another PCC to NDVO ?
When ur application reaches the regional local visa office, in our case ndvo, they show app received initially. Later on when an officer picks up our application, it changes to in process. The day it changes is ur aor2 date.

That's okay. If u have submitted ur pcc along with ur app, u don't need to worry if it has expired or not. Anyways in spousal sponsorship, pcc should be the least of ur worries.

OUR PCC has no expiry written on it. But ND if they feel can ask. SO far never heard them asking another PCC. PCC is issued by SSP Police not by passport office.
I think your file hasn't been assigned to an officer after it was transferred to ndvo. That's why it is in queue for processing. It's neither good or bad news. It just means ur file was received but the work hasn't started.
