March 2005 yung 1st AOR namin.
Well, well...MR, pero parang nags-start na naman yata maghold ng processing ang embassy. Hintay-hintay lang siguro tayo.
AT LEAST IKAW MR na lang. so yung 70 months na sinasabi nila eh, di pala yun ang exact talaga. like on ur case, dapat mey visa ka na sa panahon na to. baka nga nag lie low na naman bec ata nag uupdate sila ng system.. Goodluck sa inyo. i hope in the coming months eh mey pgbabago na sa status natin. Godbless!
hello everyone,
i also applied in 2004, means before Feb, 2008. In August 2009 i got a letter for update documents and i provided all the documents. After that i did not receive any letter and waiting.........................
immigration people are quite clever they are now only takin those who they needed the most but whose gonna care about old applicants ... are they like dumb waitin for such a long time n those whos applied after 2008 are gettin it so early is this a kind of a joke they 'll prioritise their own benefits first
Hi. I applied before 2008, around 2005, I think. luckily, i pulled out my application and has re-applied January of 2010. I am now just waiting for my Visa and has already submitted my Passport for stamping.

Well, Good for you!!
I think you did the right thing. Many of us failed to recognize that the initial letter they sent out to us requesting confirmation of our continuous interest in the immigration process was actually just to stack up our cases, put them aside and keep hold of our money.
We are now kind of stuck!! Don't know where we stand, feel gutted after so many years and have even started thinking of withdrawing as time (age) seems to have caught up on us.
I for one don't have that craving for Canada any longer as I had initially, some 3 and half years ago when I applied.
