The minister (immigration) has announced changes in the immigration system which is beneficial for the old applicants especially for the ones who applied in 2004 and 2005 as of now........

Yes,Be ready & get prepare for next steps(e.g UL,Medical & visa) as CHC has now started to process the old applicants cases, which were dumping since 2009 .My friend of March 2005 applicant has receive the UL request on 12th july. However, we will be able to exactly calculate the speed & timing of CHC in disposal of old applicants files within 3 to 5 months.

Letter for update of documents

Hi,

My family applied Feb.'05, we just received the letter of documents update request last May. We sent it last Jun.20. The letter said they will review the documents after 2 months from the date the letter was sent, per our calculation, thats Jul.3, 2010.

How long do they usually respond if we're good for medical? Since until now, we're still waiting.

@rcosing- we passed ours last june 2005, so we have to wait few more months to receive an update? didn,t you receive a letter back then from CIC giving you option to withdrwa your application or to continue it? we did have that letter, but we decide to continue it, anyways update me thanks god bless!
