does any one knows how long it takes the visa office after they recieve back your file to finish off your application? my package was sent to them over 1 month to finish off my file in port of spain

My file was received November 2021 waiting... congrats it's good news hope you hear something soon some visa office is faster than some.

There’s always a hearing, you can’t skip it. During this hearing you will need to answer questions and make statements to overturn the negative decision made by the IRCC. You can also be selected for an ADR conference, it’s a type of hearings for more straight forward cases. Good luck!
