i did not apply for appeal. i am asking question. i am still waiting for decision made and passport request, but my baby due in january 2022.

You are in the Appeal Forum. I noticed you've posted the same question in other forums but it might be best to contact IRCC regarding your unborn child. Did you inform IRCC that your wife is expecting? Do you need to add your unborn child to the process? Those are questions you should be asking IRCC. Good luck!!

The new immigration mandate letter reveals priorities such as:

• Application processing: Trudeau calls on Fraser to “Reduce application processing times, including to address delays that have been impacted by COVID-19.”
• Express Entry: Create more permanent residence pathways via Express Entry for international students and temporary foreign workers.

Ours has been in New York since October 8th. I've been reading other applicant trackers and its an average of 2-5 months wait after file was transfer to VO. That's for general spousal applications...hopefully appeals are treated similar. Its hurtful.
