Hello my name is Diana Agnes Szalek ism currently going through the appeal case. My case is going through scheduling conference. Can you guys call me at 1 (587) 340-9653 or 1(780) 474-7159 and tell me more and more what happened during you appeal case and so I can build confidence in my husband Arfan and what evidence they wanted to know. Basically I like to know your experience with this whole ordeal? Please share with me as much you can folks about your appeal cases.

Sorry I just see your message now. And then I see you got it. Excellent. Your waiting close to 4 mos or less hopefully. For your copy of file. Called a blue book. In the mean time order your notes. GCMS. online. Some where on this thread or do a search you order online. There you will learn exactly what the visa officer wrote before and after interview.These are same notes you will find in the file, but you can order and receive them faster. Start building more new proof to answer for refusal reasons. Visit if you can.

Hi guys, I have a question I can't seem to find the answer for, when they ask you to send updated forms after you win your appeal, do you have to print, sign and then scan it so you can send it back to them via e-mail or can you just validate and send it? I'm asking because some of the forms won't allow you to type in the signature area, so I was wondering if I have to sign it and then scan the form.

Hopefully someone who just did the is successfully can help you out.

Thanks for bumping this as well as letting me know how you did yours, it helped. Someone mentioned just print, sign and scan as well as register and ask for signature, I'm assuming they mean I should link my application to MyCiC, but I can't do that for the life of me, it just won't find my application, maybe because it's not "open" yet. I'm thinking I'll just go the sign and scan route to be safe and hope my files aren't larger than 5MB (reducing them too much will reduce quality).

There are multiple posts on here, I try a few ways and fail. I find a post a couple days ago and it worked.

I just received an email from Ottawa an answer to one I sent on July 27,2017 which I asked when a request would be sent for my husband to pick up his visa in Cuba and here is the answer I received


" Your application is within normal processing times"

Since when is a won appeal under a time line after all updated forms, new medical and pro,ice check sent background and de purity completed and everything approved by CIC .

Does this email mean we will have to wait the 13 months for Cuba ? Like anyone that sends in a new application.

I am so upset that I am sick to my stomach.

After waiting more than 3 years since applying and now 7 months and 6 weeks since winning the appeal this does not make since to me .

As anyone else gone through this?

I don't know what your question was but I'm surprised they even replied to you, it's so hard to ever get any kind of reply from these people it's a bit depressing.
From what I've seen from people who've gone through the entire thing, it seems like the average time after you won an appeal 'til you get a passport request is around a year, so I'm assuming unfortunately you'll have to wait a little longer, but on the positive side, you are really close!

Thank you It just seems so strange after speaking with a CIC call center agent July 27 the same day In sent the email that I was told he would get his visa in August. You are correct it is rare to get an answer from an email
