I never got a letter of refusal from my husbands country Morocco . I got an email.

We received our refusal letter via email. About 3 days later ( Victoria Day ) the morning of my flight back! She told my husband let your wife go back. Haaaa I changed my flight and stayed anticipating a refusal email. The bag.

We had our appeal last April. My husband redid his medical and police clearance last summer, and
last week he finally got his PPR, he mailed it off and today it just arrived in the mail. My husband is finally coming to Canada

I was just thinking too, she can't live in another country as appeal is being processed. She can visit. I have over the 2 yr wait I went back 5 times, longest I stayed was 4 mos. But I came back for work and lived in Canada. I mean like if she can live there now after appealing. Then she can live there without appealing and can lose appeal, or if they figure out she moved. Anybody else have any input. Alicee is another lady that said she was going to move. However I didn't think of this til now.

But I can visit for 6 months then? Am I correct?

Can we visit for a year, my work will give me an LOA for a year. Or should I just continue staying in Morocco for like 4 months , home and work 4 months and go do this instead of visiting a year? We want to be together and 1 month every 4-6 months is too long being apart.

Two things, you have to not give them any reason to believe the VO had the right decision for the refusal. If someone down right moves, it could do one of two things, help solidify your relationship in their eyes. Or make them think, well if she can move there and live there, her husband doesn't need the visa.
Perhaps showing that you have bigger ties to Saskatchewan than in Morocco. Your job is waiting for you, grown kids in Canada.
Was hoping more members would have input and you can better weigh your options. It gets quiet here on weekends.
You have some time to figure it out. So your employer can also accommodate.
You should.think about Saskatchewan Health Benefits too. They allow up to 7 months gone. In a year. Would you automatically get them back upon return? Would you have medical insurance? Just trying to make sure you have all the bases covered. Think like cic would think. Does thay make sense?

The more formal it is the more suspicious your case will be (strictly IMHO)

In other words just a nice simple letter from the heart saying they are happy for you and so on. You don't need to tell them what to say. Other than you would like them to write a letter in support of your marriage/relationship and why.

I asked the IAD officer if I can live in Morocco for a year while waiting for my appeal and she said yes, you just need to let them know and give an address or email so they can contact you

Wow do you really need to post the same questions in what 10 or more other threads? A minute apart? We get it, this thread is for ppl who been refused. And we are appealing. Do you plan on being refused?

Generally it takes 4-5 months for the request to update forms, police checks and medical
