submitted the same on Dec 5th 2012

Waiting for nomination don't know how long its going to take

honesty_12: How much points did you calculate in your self assessment for IELTS band of 8.5? I got overall 7.5 and took 8 points in the SINP self assessment. I hope I have not calculated more than what I deserve.


AJ- I didnt calculate the points, my consultant did, and i was conveyed that the total points are 40, which is quite satisfactory i guess.

Arams - What were the additional documents requested? I believe that since you have provided the docs you will get the nomination soon. All the best.

Thanks AJ giving me hope for getting nomination soon ,

but i want to tell you one thing in dec -2012 SINP required my travel history , when i confirm with agent it is document request from snip or something else he said SINP required from everyone whoever put file for nomination so thats why i dont understand it was document request or its common part of file processing so can u please share your experience.

These were the documents that SINP asked for

Updated SINP - 100-1
Updated Bank Statement
Formal unabridged Birth Certificate
Degree Transcript
Real Property - Formal evaluation / Appraisal and proof of owner ship
IMM0008 - generic application form.

I got a mail from SINP stating they have received my mail with all the documents on December 5th 2012


Hoping that something will happen b4 march end.

I sent a mail to sinp asking about the status of my application and told them that I applie in march 2011. Today I got a replying saying that your application is in process and no documents are required at thd time.

U guess they have not even started looking on my application.

hello i got a mail from sinp asking for missing documents

they have asked for IETLS, travell record, degree transcripts, back statement to show funds and birth certificate.

can anybody tell me what can i send as birth certificate. In india 10th grade certificate is treated as birth certificate. but i guess they dont acknoledge that. I dont have any formal birth certificate.. Can anybody help me with this....

Hi skMarch,
I am from kerala.
I had the same issue with my birth certificate, they asked me for a formal birth certificate, so i had to go to the panchayat or muncipality of the place where i was born and requested for a new one (luckily i had the old one with me which was handwritten)so asked them to give a formal unabridged certificate got it on the same day.
