If you dont mind, can we know what country are you from?.Coz it takes more time for background checks for some particular countries..!

I am from Mexico and I am waiting almost a year too..I have my medical done back to may 2012 and still waiting :'( :'( :'(

Yes I did from three countries ..Canada USA and Mexico...do you think that is the criminal check where I am stock ????? I asked for caips but 1 week ago ..no here yet

Well, Maybe. Only CAIPS notes will give you the exact picture what has happened and what is going on..CAIPS notes may take Minimum of 1 month to 2 Months to get in. Did you send them an E-mail to inquire about the status?

About my status and they basically said your application is in process in ottawa please wait and bla bla bla

cn nikki ...i think what u can do is send them an email requesting your status..ask them what is going on? i did it (i was waiting so long and nothing happen) so. after i sent the email requesting if they missing any document cause i seen my application stuck..they sent me a police request after 2 day..i hope thats my last step. so believe me an email something make them to check ur case
