Who else are missing this Fall session due to delay in Visa? Kindly advise required from experienced. Still no news of Visa decision. Please answer following questions:

1.Do I wait for visa decision?

2. Do I call CIC now to change my Immigration Letter(LOA) to join next Fall session?(I don't know if it is possible,share if anybody has experience).

3.Anyone has any real experience please share.

1.Do I wait for visa decision?
yes but depending on the last date your instituition will accept you. If you are sure that you will not get visa before the last date tell your institution for deffer letter.
2. Do I call CIC now to change my Immigration Letter(LOA) to join next Fall session?(I don't know if it is possible,share if anybody has experience).
no need to call . you can send your defer letter through case specific section.

Did u book any flights? That's a big issue. I had to cancel my purchased ticket due to delay in visa but now there r no flights available soon.

Just landed in canada today My POE was calgary, it was so easy all i had to do is show them the passport. They said the LOI, university acceptance and other details were already in their network/system. Definitely easier than Toronto where they drill you a lot

Hey I also applied on 27th june, med's done on 1st august but haven't got any reply yet. two of my friends have got their visa about a one week ago but we applied on same day. what will happen? isn't it a rare delay ? what about you ? have you got your visa ?

I applied on 27th June too but got my visa on 21st august. May be because my course was due to start soon. They probably give priority to those, whose course starts earlier.

my course will start on 5th September. it is ridiculous if they thinks it is much early to give me any decision. i have missed the fall term surely. what worse can be done?

Reached Canada safely on 30 August. Now at St. John's, NL. Those who r planning to come here & have thr laptop or other electronic devices, make sure u bring ur converter for charging ur device. Here plugs r different then BD. Beside it will cost u $10-$25 to buy an traveling converter from source/wallmart.

classes will start on sept 4 but last date to reach is sept 18
