Turkish Airlines has started its operation from Dhaka, Bangladesh from 22nd Dec, 2010. Its a Star Alliance member and considered to be a luxurious Airlines along with Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways.
Turkish Airlines has
Dhaka - Istanbul - Toronto flight and now offering $1399 (return).
Summary:
4 Flights per week. DAC (Departure at 22:50, Arrival in Karachi at 02:15, Departure Karachi at 02:30, Arrival in Istanbul at 05:50
I don't know about the flight schedule from Istanbul to Toronto. Should be good. Currently they will touch Karachi while coming from and to Bangladesh but after 2-3 months they will operate direct flights between DAC to Istanbul. My assumption is one way fare to Toronto should not be more than what Emirates offer. if thats right then it must be between BDT 60,000 to 70,000. Emirates fare one way is BDT 80,000- 85,000 and return is BDT 1,10,000; Turkish Airlines BDT 1,00,800
I'd not recommend people to fly Emirates as its like African Darfur when it comes to food, they quickly run out of Lamb, Beef an Chicken and many have to eat vegitable foods. Besides Emirates don't offer good snacks on board.
When you don't hear anything from them for quite sometime and asked for silly papers, its a possible rejection to come. Still not sure, I will let you know all guys.
hello
Jonathan I know your situation and yes it is 50-50 chance.
When it comes about adaptability ( relatives reference ) factor then they are start asking silly documents which are not that much necessary to compile with other documents
It's really a tense situation for an applicant when someone passed almost a year or more after submission Full doc.
But I am very much hopeful that ultimately you will overcome yourself from this hectic situation.
Always wishing your best.
From his reply: (I'd not recommend people to fly Emirates as its like African Darfur when it comes to food, they quickly run out of Lamb, Beef an Chicken and many have to eat vegitable foods. Besides Emirates don't offer good snacks on board. )
I am 100% agree with him, recently some of my relatives flew Emirates from NYC(JFK) to DAC by A380 & B777 experienced the same in between NYC to DXB.
Its an unimaginable situation from an Airlines like Emirates.
So think again for a long haul flights hospitality.
