I also agree on the note that CAD conversion is not mandatory since I didn't provide Bank Docs with CAD conversion & I've got PER email from CIC recently.

Certainly Conversion is not mandatory but when you reveal the reason of certificate some bank's staff will issue letter with conversion rate..... Its a kind of extra favor from bank towards you and your case officer... :-X
A GCMS note can provide some info regarding ur processing of file. Info like Points that CIC has counted for ur app, When ur file has transferred to local vo in real, reason why an applicant has called for interview, current status of the file/backgrounf check/security check passing status etc. This is not obligatory, its upto applicant whether he want to have this more descriptive info or he is satisfied with CIC/local VO emails/ECAS status.
Global Case Management System (GCMS) :
Hope that helps....
a) having relatives in Canada .... 5 CAD will require.

b) If you don't have a relative / friend in Canada try these websites. You will get in around 6-8 weeks.
a) http://www.caips.ca/
b) http://caipsnotes.com/index.shtml
c) http://www.caipsretriever.com/2006/03/immigrants-life-in-toronto-canada-ii.htmld)
Please read the conversation between jes_ON and ZingyDNA who are now immigrants. According to their talk, people should be careful not to select physical files while requesting for GCMS notes. Doing so will pull out their files from the queue!
You were right when you said "Case Files" and "Notes in Electronic File" should be chosen while requesting for GCMS notes through the ATIP online link. Physical file is an absolute no no.

But I am not sure still that they will pickup the file from the queue and then bring it to front just for a request of an authorized person.....(even its the req from principal applicant )....
So far I have not heard/ find such kind of issues...

I need help from you guys. I have sent my application on 3rd July 2014 through DHL and CIC recieved (David) the application on 9th July 2014. On 8th July my kid has born and obviously in my application there is no information about my kid. How this can be addressed and will there be any problem for processing?
Also i have not received any notification from CIC yet. When possibly i would be notified.
