Frnds...just now visa office representative visited my office. they went to my supervisor first and showed a pic of a some other person and asked whehter he works here. my boss replied negetively. then he showed my pic and my boss confirmed him. he asked about my position in the company and then asked to talk to me. he took my interview and informed me that they will give their feedback by 2 weeks.

Please pray for me

What about your ecas status now? When you have submitted your documents to visa office?

its still "received by visa office"

I guess this verification depends on NOC code? I know a person who got the medical request within 7 days after submitted the docs to the visa office. His NOC was 0111.

very good informative reply.
Thanks for that. Yea, your reply will surely help the aspirants.
I am sure youre living where its not connected with Toronto's Subway system, Does it?
How do you commute to Toronto? how much is the rent where youre living now?
What are you doing to get a job which seems the hardest part as its very costly living in Toronto compared to living in Dhaka. :(

Thanks for your appreciation.

It is few miles far from Laslie subway station. But TTC buses ply through nearby roads.

It's positive sides are:

Airport pick up; which most guest house does not do.

It is quite. Privacy 100% maintained. You can cook your own food. All kitchen appliances are there.

AND it is a short stay accomodation before you find out a perfect (close to subway, school, mall) living place.

Rent is 55 CAN$ per day, but weekly and monthly discounts are there for longer stay.

For job I am doing, what the others do. NETWORKING!

Site visits have taken place recently, I donno what is the reason for that.
CIC can do it but these typa visits do tense the applicants.

You have to write a letter to CIC giving your file reference number for change of address. Look through online file status check whether they have changed the address. If it is not done withinn 15 days you can send a case specific email asking for change of the address.

Hi all,
I am in Bangladesh. Never went to USA or Canada.
I have a brother and sister in USA. Sister is a citizen and brother has a green card.
My question:
Can I have them apply for me using Buffalo office?

Or, is there any other similar way to bypass the que at Singapore ?

Thanks

Go to CIC's site and have your score calculated, you need 67 only which for many seems is impossible.
your US green card holder bro and sis cant help you for having any point for Canadian immigration.
if they were in Canada as a PR or citizen, then you'd get 5 points from from.

jnathan: Thanks for your reply. My point was not that. What I am trying to figure out is whether I can bypass Singapore office anyhow.
I am trying to know if there is any way to shorten the total process.

Getting the total point won't be problem I guess.

Please reply.
