If you have friend/relatives, u can easily rent a house in Toronto, without much formalities.
Usually landlords ask for advance rent for 6 months & some identification document, credit score, which may be complicated.
Some may ask you for executing a 12 month lease agreement.

My suggestion is to find a place for 1-2 months, with help of friends/relatives in Canada. Then find a place on your own & move there.

See these also for more advice:

If that fails try to find a Bangladeshi landlord, who rents rooms on a monthly payment basis, (without advance or just 1 months advance). There are some Bangladeshi ppl landlords, who welcome newcomer families.

Thank you so much for the info. Just another small query, can I rent a house in Canada sitting from Bangladesh via online? Or do I need to have the landing papers, SIN to rent an accommodation in Toronto? Please advise.

Is there anyone who's getting an error message while loading application status in the MyCIC account (Error: 502 Bad Gateway)? Many people in the forum are reporting this issue.

I experienced the same error message last night. And I was hoping that my account status was being updated :):D. The problem is fixed now, but there is no update in the status. :(:mad:

Few applicants from NDVO got MR yesterday as reported in FB status.

Is there anybody who got MR recently from SGVO?

Mr. RSRS, new delhi visa office maintained completely different time line for different program which does not have any comparison with singapore VO. So as london visa office. Our concern should be singapore.

However, i wanted to know your cell number to discuss and compare your timeline with me as you already received medical request but unfortunately you have not responded.

SGVO is very slow. If LVO and NDVO are comparable to a turtle, SGVO is comparable to snail!

What's your category of immigration?

I know visa offices are independent. NDVO also issued MR yesterday after a long gap and now its our turn.

I am waiting for MR with FT in March.

I have used Brac Bank Card after opening international gateway but my card gets declined.
Did you arrange the needed USD by calling the call centre? Usually international online transaction is permitted up to 300 USD. For amount more than that you need to expand the limit by talking to the bank. Also make sure you have endorsed the USD against your passport. If you explain the situation to the bank call centre they will guide you on this. BBL call centre number is 16221. Open 24/7.

Yes later I called up the call center and they asked me to contact them on a working day. I have endorsed more than the required amount on my passport, I will talk to them tomorrow and hopefully they will permit me to make the payment. Since its a visa fee , there shouldn't be much of an issue from Bangladesh Bank side. Thanks again for the help.
