Applied: 29 April (CEC)
AOR: 29 April
Medical Passed: 13 May
I have a question. Did anybody with a non-LMO job apply through CEC without the required POF. I applied with 2000CAD. I work non-LMO contract jobs in NOC 2132 with a PGWP.
I applied through CEC. And while filling up the EE profile, I had declared 2000CAD. This had automatically made me ineligible for FSW, although I meet all the other requirements of FSW. I got ITA with 2000CAD declared. Now I have applied with proof of the said 2000CAD as well as my current job letter. But, it's not possible for me to get a LMO job, since I have a PGWP and will have to renounce the PGWP to do that.
Is there anyone who has applied with a similar situation as mine.
Same with me. Medicals passed three weeks ago. But BG check is still showing "Not Started". ECAS shows 3 line. I think this situation is more common with FSWP applicants outside Canada without PNP and LMIA. Those with some form of links to Canada have their BGs changed to "In Progress" on the same day they pass their medicals. I hope to see some positive movement on my application this week.

Yeah same here, medical passed but BG check is still not started for more than 3 wks. I was worried before, but after reading through I think this is common for those applying from outside Canada. It seems (I may be wrong of course) that CIC is prioritizing those applicants who are already in canada first. In any case, we are already so blessed to have the ITA's. So we just have to patiently wait, it will be processed anytime soon.
