Hi Sushil
Welcome to this thread. File transfer is the date when CIO, NS send/transfer your initial assessed file to your local visa office (where you are advised to send ur full docs to).... You will get a note in your E CAS about when its done... Hope that clarifies.

I have heard that they have visited the workplace of some bangladeshi applicants.

Hi Saki,

it depends on case to case. if you have submitted all the documents along with payslips and copy of the salary account, VO will fully be satisfied. howver if at any stage they doubt ur docs, then a third party investigating agency visit the workplace and verify the details.

After initial review of your application Central Intake Office will transfer it to your visa office. The date of transfer is mentioned on the Electronic Client Application Status (ECAS) published on this location-
